Frequently Asked Questions
What are the signature image requirements for SSC CGL 2026?
SSC CGL requires a scanned signature image of 413×177 pixels, JPEG format, between 10 KB and 20 KB. The signature must be on white paper with a blue or black pen. Use PDFtiny's SSC signature preset.
Can I use my digital handwriting as a signature for government exams?
Most exam portals require a physically signed white paper scanned or photographed with a phone. Digital stylus signatures are generally not accepted. Sign on white A4 paper, photograph cleanly with good lighting, and then resize.
My signature photo is in PNG format. Can I upload it?
Yes. PDFtiny accepts PNG, JPG, and WebP signature images. The output will be saved as JPEG as required by all Indian government exam portals.
What if my signature image is in color (blue/black ink on white)?
Color signatures are fine — they are the standard. Just ensure the background is white and the ink is clearly visible. PDFtiny preserves the color accurately in the output JPEG.
