Files and external AI requests

Local file operations read the selected file and generate output in the browser. Merge, Split, and Compress do not send document bytes to a processing server. Downloaded output is stored wherever your browser saves files.

PDF chat sends extracted text from up to ten pages, the filename, and your question; translation sends extracted page text; OCR sends rendered page images; resume assistance sends the text being improved and related context. These requests go to Google Gemini using your API key. Google’s applicable terms and data policies govern that processing and retention.

Browser storage and downloaded files

Local storage keeps preferences, cookie choices, locally edited site content, and the Gemini API key under gemini_api_key. Clear this site’s data in browser settings to remove saved values. Closing a tab does not guarantee secure erasure or remove downloads, browser storage, support emails, or content sent to external services.

Analytics and advertising

The site loads Google Analytics and advertising scripts. These services can receive browser, device, network, and page-use information and may use cookies. Local document processing does not make all website traffic anonymous. Google Gemini requests are separate and include the document or resume content described above.

Support and privacy requests

The contact form prepares a mailto draft. You choose whether to send it; copies of your name, email address, message, and attachments may remain with the sending and receiving email services. The website does not confirm receipt. Local processing is not a certification of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or other legal compliance.
