How many PDF files can I merge at once?
PDFtiny has no artificial limit on the number of PDF files you can merge. You can combine 2, 10, or 50+ PDFs in one session. The only practical limit is your device's available RAM since all processing is browser-based.
Can I rearrange the page order before merging?
Yes. After selecting multiple PDFs, you can drag and drop individual pages into your preferred order before clicking Merge PDFs. You can also rotate individual pages and delete pages you don't need.
Do merged PDFs lose quality or formatting?
PDFtiny copies PDF pages rather than converting them to images, so merging does not intentionally reduce image resolution or rasterize text. Document-level features such as bookmarks, interactive forms, and digital signatures may not carry over. Review the combined PDF before sharing it.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
You need to unlock password-protected PDFs before merging. Use PDFtiny's Unlock PDF tool to remove the password first, then proceed with merging.
