Frequently Asked Questions
Can I lock aspect ratio while resizing images?
Yes. By default, the aspect ratio lock is enabled so changing width automatically scales height proportionally, preventing image stretching or distortion.
What interpolation method is used when scaling down photos?
PDFtiny uses high-quality bicubic/Lanczos canvas resampling, preserving fine details and preventing jagged edges when reducing image dimensions.
Can I convert format while resizing?
Yes, you can choose whether to output your resized image as JPG, PNG, or WebP with customizable compression quality.
Is there a limit on image dimensions?
You can resize photos up to 8K resolution (7680×4320 px) directly in your browser without memory issues.
